Wire weaving is a slow process. It took me many, many hours to complete this pendant. Aside from the chain, every bit of it was lovingly crafted by hand.

Loveliest Pear - Original Wire Jewelry Design

When traveling in Italy, I was inspired by the beautiful floral patterns painted on the walls of art nouveau buildings. Then I found a gorgeous green druzy that reminded me of a ripe pear and I decided to attempt the art nouveau look I fell in love with. I then designed an art nouveau wire wrapped pendant to be worn as a one-of-a-kind statement necklace.

To add beauty and versatility to the design, I used both jeweler's copper and .925 sterling silver jewelry wire. I also wove in small clear and green crystals to accent and compliment the beautiful pear-shaped green druzy. 

It took me several weeks to design and create this pendant. It was crafted using many wire techniques including several weaving patterns. Aside from the chain, every bit of it was crafted by hand.

Materials: Sterling silver, Copper, Swarovski crystal, Druzy cabochon

This large pendant measures approximately 5.5" x 2.25" and will arrive on a heavy 18" solid stainless steel chain. If you want a longer chain, please just let me know. The entire pendant is protected with a high quality jewelry sealer to prevent tarnishing.
